Our Capabilities

We have extensive experience machining all types of materials in our 20,000 square foot facility. Stainless steel, Aluminum, Aerospace alloys, Plastics, Castings, Bar stock or Plate. We hold tolerances that many others would shy away from. Quantities range from one piece to thousands of pieces.

While our primary focus is CNC machining, our extensive capabilities allow us the flexibility necessary to produce even small lots of the most difficult part designs. MacLean Precision Machine strives for excellence above and beyond the average machine shop. Our outside processes such as heat treating and plating are handled only by qualified sources that maintain the same quality oriented philosophy that we do.

The quality control department at MacLean Precision Machine has a vast array of inspection equipment available. We use GAGEtrak calibration management software to track our equipment calibration and also use outside sources to ensure all our inspection equipment is in top condition. We have coordinate measuring machines, Micro-Hite measuring machines, a roundness tester, optical and video comparators, along with countless other gages to ensure that our quality is second to none.

We use SPC where applicable and our quality system meets all aspects of Mil-I-45208A. The proof of this is our reputation as one of the highest quality job shops in the New England area.
